Cooking for family - A celebration of love, nourishment, and self-expression

Making healthy food fun and appealing for my family is an eternal challenge. I love experimenting with creative ways to present nutritious ingredients, turning ‘boring’ foods into visually appealing dishes. I’m always on the lookout for new ideas to make mealtimes a delight. It’s a labor of love, but seeing my family enjoy healthy food and thrive makes it all worth it!

I enjoy whipping up quick and nutritious meals that preserve the goodness of the ingredients. I prioritise dishes with minimal cooking time to ensure maximum retention of nutrients and flavour. This way, I can spend quality time with my loved ones while still serving up delicious and healthy meals. Plus, it gives me the flexibility to carve out some precious "me time" to pursue my passions, whether that's exploring the world of energy healing and meditation, being a source of motivation to the precious lives I’m supporting, catching up on my favourite shows or movies, or simply taking a rejuvenating nature walk. By cooking efficiently, I can strike a perfect balance between nourishing my family, focusing on my work, and nurturing my own well-being.

One of my recent successes was a simple yet delicious Avocado Chickpea, and Broccoli bowl. It turned out to be a hit with the family ( my husband asked for a repeat performance) and proved that healthy food can be both tasty and fun!

Last year I created a vibrant salad and presented it in a colorful mandala design. The visually appealing arrangement caught my son's attention, and he was intrigued by the creative presentation. To my delight, he enthusiastically devoured the dish, which included ingredients he typically avoids when served in a traditional recipe. The mandala design not only added an artistic touch but also made mealtime a fun and engaging experience for all of us.
