Sohrab Khandelwal

Sohrab Khandelwal is a BAFTA-qualifying filmmaker, actor, and writer whose creative journey bridges cinema, literature, and soul. He played the lead in the acclaimed Zee5 web series Akoori, and has acted in feature films like Jagga Jasoos, Upstarts, Sardar Ka Grandson, Prithipal, and more. His television work includes popular shows such as Dev 2 (Colors), Namkaran (Star Plus), Y.A.R.O Ka Tashan (SAB TV), Saavdhan India, and Meri Durga.
With Que Sera Sera—his award-winning debut as a writer-director—Sohrab cemented his voice as a storyteller who blends visual poetry with emotional resonance. His storytelling flows from a deep well of experience: from screen and stage to meditative Himalayan retreats, he brings vulnerability, discipline, and spiritual depth into every project.
As the founder of Anumodna, a culture-focused magazine, he envisions a space where intelligence meets art, and where stories awaken, rather than distract. For Sohrab, art isn’t content—it’s a form of connection, remembrance, and rebellion.
