Chef Vikas Chawla is a seasoned culinary expert known for his mastery in Indian as well as international cuisines. Among global flavours, Spanish, Lebanese, and Italian cuisines hold a special place in his heart. He serves as a consultant to leading sweet shops, cafés, and restaurants, and especially large-scale kitchens that cater to up to 30,000 people daily.

Chef Vikas is also the Millet Ambassador at NutriHub, IIMR, Hyderabad—an initiative under the Government of India. In addition, he works closely with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) as a co-convener.

Recognized as the "Millet Chef of India," he has received state-level awards from four different governments for his efforts, including the launch of India's first millet-based restaurant, Jhumroo.

Furthering his vision for healthy, sustainable food, he has also developed the world's first millet bakery — Bake Mantra, soon to be launched. This unique bakery specializes in millet and jaggery-based cookies, brownies, and dry cakes, offering nutritious alternatives to conventional baked goods.

He has also authored two books. His first, Cook with Mother, Cook with Punjab, is a heartfelt tribute to traditional Punjabi cuisine. His most recent publication, Millets: The Grain Revolution, highlights the nutritional and ecological importance of millets in modern diets.
